Bueno mi disco ha estado mandando algunos errores al correo:

No estoy tan seguro de la gravedad del asunto… sin embargo ya estoy respaldando varias cosas :/ por otro lado no estoy seguro de poder conseguir un remplazo para este disco, sin tener que levantar un ticket de servicio y para empezar no imagino que pasa cuando se reporta un equipo con linux…. a final de cuentas no es un disco TAN grande:

Al menos en almacenamiento, que en edad… veamos… 2002? 6 años de funcionar 7×24…. mhh… aunque usando los numeros que da el smart dice que tiene funcionando 2 años…

    El error UNC se refiere a error de escritura, pero no parece ser más que sectores dañados, de hecho esos errores son más comunes de lo que se piensa.
    Podrías probar con: fsck.ext3 -c -y /dev/foo
    con esto debes detectar y asilar los sectores dañados.
    O bien échale un ojo al comando ‘badsectors’
