Día 1 (Domingo)
Padme amaneció con un mauyido muy raro, pareciera estar ronca, como tenemos visitas y el veterinario abre relativamente tarde las llevamos hasta como las 2pm, el diagnostico, resfrió, le inyectan un cóctel (expectorante, calmante para el dolor, antibiótico, etc.) estuvo sacando mucha flema toda la tarde, la estuve cuidando hasta que dejo de sacar flema, le abrí una lata de atún, pero no quiso probar bocado, la acosté en su cama y la lleve al dormitorio.

Dia 2 (Lunes)
Padme ha recibido su segunda dosis de 3 (5 si la cosa es grave) sigue sacando mucho moco, la hemos visto acercarse a su plato y tomar un poco de agua, se ve desganada, me ha sugerido la veterinaria que le de suero con electrolitos y gerber (compre uno de jamón y otro de pollo), le prepare el suero con electrolitos, se lo puse en su plato y trate de que lo tomara con una jeringa que compre para esto, ha sido inútil no toma nada de la jeringa y no acepta la papilla.

Día 3 (Martes)
Hoy nos hemos dado cuenta que Padme toma agua del sanitario (lo cual es malo puesto que usamos pastillas para evitar el sarro, el agua aquí llega muy sucia), le han inyectado además de su cóctel para el resfrió un antihistamínico y me han pedido que la purgue con aceite de olivo y leche para después darle una solución de carbón activado. Sin embargo no me ha sido posible que acepte nada tomado, con algun trabajo logre que tomara un poco más de 6 mililitros de leche, ni soñar con poderla purgar (me ha dejado sin embargo marca de que aun tiene fuerza en mi brazo), en la mañana ha hecho movimientos como si quisiera vomitar

Hasta antes de ver la documentacion de USB de Gentoo ni idea tenia de que se podia hacer lspci -v diantres me hubiera ahorrado muchos problemas!

Jejeje sobre todo por que en mi lap, hace mucho que no requeria del sonido y mas aun que tenia rato sin usarla habia dejado la configuracion del sonido para otro momento, claro, cosa que paso dias y dias hasta que se hicieron varios meses (desde mi ultima compilada de kernel).

Puesto que lspci arroja esto:

A ojo de buen cubero habia supuesto que modelos superiores soportaban a este controlador, mas aun cuando sabia que usaba el AC97codec deba por hecho que el controlador correcto era **ali5455** con lo cual mandaba varios errores de IRQ y otras cosas:

Por lo tanto habia dejado de lado esto y me habia olvidado del mismo… hace poco que ayude a un buen amigo a configurar el USB para una maquina mucho mas nueva, me lei un doc de geento, donde venia el lspci -v (y que es posible pedir aun mas nivel del mismo!)

Entonces ahora si viendo bien en el kernel… me encontre que el controlador correcto es trident.c! y no ali5455.c !!! bueno nada que un make menuconfig && make dep && make modules && make modules_install no resuelva… un modprobe lspci

Voila, claro aprendi bastante mas de mi maquina (y ya me puedo deshacer de todos los controladores extra que habilitaba para atinarle;).

Por otro lado la Padme se nos resfrio, y aunque Jo es de la idea de que debe usar sweater… yo creo que mas bien se la pego Belleth cuyo hermano llego con la garganta inflamada a casa… en todo ya le enviaron inyecciones por 3 dias (no ha comido, pero si ha tomado agua) y a Belleth le mandaron Jarabe…

Ordenada por uso de memoria, mas alla de 150.1 tuve que enviar un kill -9 -1 que me cerro mis sesiones, pero me permitio regresar la maquina a un estado operativo, tambien obtuve un correo de alerta ;)

Es decir haz un benchmark de 1500 usuarios concurrentes a la siguiente URL… se que no es totalmente un calculo concluyente, pero ha sido divertido,tambien no tengo el apache configurado para maximo desempeño, ni mucho menos mysql para conexiones persistentes es decir es una maquina tal cual la uso para probar, sin ninguna optimizacion – excepto del kernel, y ni asi tengo incluido el de matar tareas de acuerdo a uso de memoria, comprobado queda que requiere de mas carga el vb que el phbb ;D en la DB, bueno tambien tengo poca memoria en mi maquina de casa, seria interesante probarlo en uno de nuestros U450 de 4GB de Ram…

In a blog a very good friend I saw a list of advices to childrens, that looks very good… frecuently credited to Bill Gates, I really like the text, but I for a loong time don’t believe that Mr. Gates say it… well as I was to post it today, I was searching… for it and found that in Snopes is a very good research… so well anyway today I’m posting it, uncredited (but with the link to the page that points what is the most probably author), also I post full, as normally only 11 are posted, and there are 14.

Rule No. 1: Life is not fair. Get used to it. The average teen-ager uses the phrase «It’s not fair» 8.6 times a day. You got it from your parents, who said it so often you decided they must be the most idealistic generation ever. When they started hearing it from their own kids, they realized Rule No. 1.

Rule No. 2: The real world won’t care as much about your self-esteem as much as your school does. It’ll expect you to accomplish something before you feel good about yourself. This may come as a shock. Usually, when inflated self-esteem meets reality, kids complain that it’s not fair. (See Rule No. 1)

Rule No. 3: Sorry, you won’t make $40,000 a year right out of high school. And you won’t be a vice president or have a car phone either. You may even have to wear a uniform that doesn’t have a Gap label.

Claro esto en la serie 0.5 de Jaws (de hecho el mio es 0.5.4, simplemente comente la linea, ahi mismo habia cambiado el segundo email, para que pusiera «name» que efectivamente repite el mismo, pero creo que vacio queda mas bonito…

En fin, claro que seria mas bonito pasarle el anti-spam (bueno creo que es mejor asi, puesto que el dueño puede seguir viendo los correos, y no afecta al gravatar)

Debo aceptar que esta es una desicion dificil de tomar, pero tendra que ser, ** no mas calimochos para mi ** (al menos no con refresco de cola), son bastante ricos y toda la cosa, lo ponen a uno menos impertinente que otras bebidas y no tienen los terribles efectos secundarios (lease cruda) que otros tantos, sin embargo he abusado de algo que conozco de antemano en mi, la cafeina, la cual me quita el sueño me pone de nervios y mal humor, aunque he disfrutado de 2 veladas muy buenas tomando de esta bebida, he pasado dos madrugadas en vela por lo mismo (asi que o me invento algo con este trago y refresco de manzana o como bien dicen que lo toman en cantabria, con refresco de lima) o regreso a mis Muppets y Palomas (bastante mas nefastas con el estomago y peorcitas pa lo demas)…

Por cierto que es curioso notar como con la edad para uno de ser un borracho parrandero a convertirse en «gente bohemia»…

El sabado que paso, que estabamos celebrando su cumpleaños a Mauricio (que espero se la haya pasado bien), nos dejaron en la puerta dos hermanitos… lo cual no se si me entristece (por el descaro y poca progenitora de la gente) o me alegra, por un lado por que estaba buscando compañia para Padme.

Haciendo rapidas cuentas mentales (bueno en el estado en que me encontraba no era demasiado facil, ustedes opinen 4 calimochos encima) me di cuenta que aunque andabamos algo apretados de dinero, no seria demasiada carga el cuidar de ellos, de hecho no haria falta mas que estirar esta ya de por si estirada quincena, y pues pensaba en conservar a los 2 (como nota, el del hociquito blanco es el macho, la del hociquito negro, la hembra), en fin, ayer vino una conocida de un buen amigo que deseaba adoptar un gatito y se llevo el macho, en fin yo espero conservar a la pequeña que ha demostrado ser una increible escapista a la vez que una contorsionista increible (se ha escondido en cada lugar de la casa).

Ahora algo que no me termina de gustar… es el que la gente los abandone en la calle (he visto en otras calles aqui mismo de cachorros abandonados y no los he recogido aun cuando me destroza interiormente, por que por mas que lo hiciera, en realidad no ayudaria en nada, la gente los seguiria abandonando y lejos de solucionar algo lo alentaria… sin embargo estos 2 si me pegaron en un momento de debilidad, veamos que pasa.
